We’re Huda and Kerrick Helton, founders of The Helton Team at Compass. With $650M+ in closed sales and over 1,000 homes sold, we’ve helped buyers and sellers navigate real estate in San Diego and Mammoth Lakes. We’re also proud to be the only Compass team working in both markets, giving our clients one seamless experience from the coast to the mountains.
Most of our business comes from referrals and repeat clients, so clear communication, trust, and great service are at the heart of everything we do. We guide our clients through all market conditions with honest advice and a hands-on approach—so you always know what’s happening and what your options are.
We’ve been honored to be featured in Forbes, San Diego Magazine, The Sheet, and Real Producers Magazine, including being featured on the cover of Real Producers Magazine (November 2025 edition).
Our team is what truly makes the difference. In Mammoth Lakes, Kerrick works closely with Yajaira Cortes, a Mammoth native who has been part of our team for nearly 15 years and is incredible at taking care of clients on the ground. In San Diego, Huda is supported by Shea Kelly, who has been with our team for over five years and plays a huge role in keeping everything running smoothly. Nico Schauffele is our newest San Diego-based agent, bringing great energy, strong local connections, and a true team-first mindset.
Whether you’re buying your first home, selling a property, or looking for a second home in the mountains, our full team is here to make the process smooth, strategic, and stress-free.
If you’re thinking about buying or selling in San Diego, Mammoth Lakes, or both, we’d love to help.
Two Amazing Destinations. One Seamless Experience.
